HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
That depends on whether you are tackling  bacterial cystitis or interstitial cystitis, and whether it is a long-standing / recurring infection, or a new infection that hasn't become fully established yet.

One pack/tub contains 30 level teaspoons of D-Mannose UTI-Medication. It will usually clear a new or first-time infection. You'll need more if fighting a severe or long-term infection, or if you are catheterising or have interstitial cystitis.

It’s also a good idea to have a supply in your handbag or pocket, or in your desk at work or in the car, so that if you ever feel those dreaded initial symptoms you can immediately take a heaped teaspoonful of Waterfall D-Mannose, and take another an hour later. This will usually stop a cystitis episode.

HOW WATERFALL-D-MANNOSE IS USED

When used as a UTI Medication, a level teaspoonful of D-Mannose taken several times per day should see off most infections (see more below).

Stir it into a warm (not hot) non-acidic drink like tea or (ideally) warm water (not cranberry or orange juice). Although this uti-medication is sweet, it is not over-sweet and your drink should continue to be entirely palatable.

Waterfall-D-Mannose can be used as a preventive or as a treatment (or both of course).

D-MANNOSE AS A PREVENTATIVE

Take a level teaspoonful just once a day.  You should also take a similar amount an hour or so before sex and another teaspoonful immediately afterward (think of it as the traditional “cigarette” but much safer!)  Take a further similar dose the following morning.

D-MANNOSE AS A UTI MEDICINE

Take a heaped teaspoonful of D-Mannose UTI Medicine at the beginning of a UTI attack, or as soon as possible after it begins.

 
Then take another heaped teaspoonful 1 hour later, then a level teaspoonful every three hours until your symptoms ease.   The reduce intake to three times a day for a further three days or until the tub is finished.
